Greetings from your Northeast District Executive Committee,
We have great news regarding tomorrow’s Pre-Legislative Day Event. Dr. Jim Wood of the California Assembly 2nd District has agreed to speak at the event. This is a big deal! Dr. Wood is Chair of the Assembly Health Committee and as such has direct influence over our Physical Therapy.
Having a great showing of support tomorrow for Dr. Wood is probably one of the single best ways that our District can support the profession at the State level.
Additionally we will have the excellent Leslie Torburn speaking on Senate Bill 537 regarding important Worker’s Compensation legislation.
